The Family: A Proclamation to the World calls on citizens everywhere to “promote those measures designed to maintain and strengthen the family.” Find out what you can do to strengthen families by joining other family professionals, students, religious leaders, and community members at the Family Outreach Conference. You will receive ideas, encouragement, and specific resources to strengthen families in your sphere of influence. While the conference will be of great interest and value to the professionals in the family and other fields, it is also meant to reach individuals of varying backgrounds who share an interest in strengthening families in informal ways. It will feature a plenary panel, breakout sessions conducted by family advocates working and serving in various realms, displays of existing family-strengthening efforts, and how-to learning on a range of topics, from choosing resources to reaching families.
